someone made a replica 30's alfa straight 8 grandprix car, and simply joined 2 4pot twincams togeher with a sliding coupling.......

some radicals did have a v8 made from the tops of 2 hayabusa engines with a unique block & crank...

tractor pullers have been built with multiple v8s joined in line with no ill effects

what is your plan????

there was some bloke who made some crazy v engined motorbikes, he was in the saturday telegraph motoring section a couple of years back.. he was a very good machinist.

Tought call Luke, ive seen it done with, of all things, swimming pool pumps.

jcb diggers used to have a huge hydraulic pump driven off the front of the crank with a flexi coupling like this

it could handle huge power, but the revs max out at 3000rpm.... whatever you use would need some serious balancing....

or the how to fit 2 motorbike engines together method
with chain drives in a transverse layout.... not recommended for long distance use
