View Full Version : Snooper test!
Rite iv got my grubby mits on a camera snooper, im gonna test it for a few days, and post daily what the snooper is like. Its one of the top of the range models, and i can get some serious discount on em, but you'd have to collect it!
Wish me luck!

i got the sd 815is snooper model about a year ago.seems to work well, had to get it though as i already had points.
av u got a newer/better one ?
the fing does pick up traffic lights(radar emitters on top)and also shopping centre doors(automatic ones).so gets a bit annoyin in town areas!

how much do they cost?
i could do with one of them...
i don't drive dangerously fast all the time... but sometimes put foot down a bit too much without realising on open or quiet roads.
That is one quality footer!

the sd 815 i picked up new for ?200. which when you consider each speeding fine is ?60(+bans if too many) isnt too much.
as i was near to a ban i thought it worthwhile to get one!
but i keep reading that the police are tryin to bring in new laser ones which some detectors cant pick up+the ones that are regularly spaced, take a photo regardless of your speed&then work out average.so if you cane it between cameras and then slow down while passing them, then speed up again...etc etc you still get fcuked.
100's of cameras round this area too.
my m8 had 1 but it use to be to sensitive detected cameras on the top of Traffic lights so it was constantly going off around my area
Model of the snooper is an S5R, its 1 of the latest models i think (so my dad sez!)
2nite ive not had the snooper as my dad had to take it to work, but im doin my christmas shopping 2moro, so il b on the road testing it!
I'll try and find as many cameras as poss to test it out, im goin 2 cwmbran shoppin (not that ne1 cares lol), i no of a few camera's on the way!
