Same as what my brother in law did, ditched some 18" TSW's for brand new GSi Ph2 rims and it looked so much better TBH.

Is an st not based on a gsi then?

Revised suspension & brakes and some other shizzle, random bits of carbon badging on the dash and what not if my memory serves me right.

But you would rather have nova than an R8? But rather a Yaris than both?

No the GSi is based on the ST, the ST came out a year before the first GSi's.

dont worry mate there are some normal people one here. hope you enjoy ya stay, whats the 3.0 like on juice? and performance? what box you running?

almond
01-11-08, 12:59 PM
petrol !!! dont mention that word lol luckily the vectra isnt my everyday car so dont have to worry to much about mpg but it does about 28ish normally 36ish on motorways but will drop to 17 if giving it some.

still running the normal v6 box fella, plenty of fluid changes and fingers crossed its ok yet

performance wise the figures on paper dont do it justice. the mid range grunt is unbelievable and never fails to make me smile

Sloth
01-11-08, 01:01 PM
hmm. i've been planning to put one into a corsa c tbh. guess i need to do it then! ta bud

Ben
01-11-08, 01:10 PM
You want the 3.2 V6 for the Corsa C, much easier conversion.

I like the 3.0l Vectras its a very worthwhile conversion and agree totaly on the cheaper than a 2.5/2.6 replacement, the F23 is a pretty good box so chould be fine.

Sloth
01-11-08, 01:18 PM
ben it should be running an f25 in the vec, as its an early one, 3.2 eh? youve thought bout this as well then. any pics of the cambelt mount etc? been planning this for 2years. corsa-c.co.uk is a bit......poo!

you can pick rusty nails up for £1000 but i wouldnt let mine go for less than £3k now its a 3.0 and imo its one of the best left in the country ive not seen one better and ive seen absolutly loads of them

i actually sold it about 6 months ago for £2700 but bought it back as soon as i could afford and its going nowhere this time
