Just seen the new Bond film...

Talk about fast paced. If you like Bond (and I do) you'll love it!

Some serious car chases (they wreck yet another Aston!) and the stunts are summut else!

It follows straight on from the last film and the action is excellent.

Minimal gadgets (just like the books as it should be) and plenty of violence!

Well worth it!

the reason goldeneye was so good was because True Lies gave the spy genre a huge kick up the backside, the along cam Jason Bourne, and then Casino Royale had to better it.... its the other films out there that make bond better.

have to say I grew up in the Roger Moore era but the last 2 Bonds are exactly how I feel they should be - more thriller based with tons of action and less reliance on the gimmicky gadgetry, so these would be my favourites. Goldeneye was very good but the other Brosnon ones were too gadget based and were more like Action man films - especially Die Another Day.

The books dont use gadgets (or use them very minimally) and focus more on Bonds sullen moods, getting the job done and general womanising.

Watched a behind the scenes making of the lastest film last night - they wrecked 14 Astons!

You could hear the guys in the audience cringing whenever it got crunched!
