Really Bad Knocking

hi there ive got a 1200 8v nova thats lowerd about 35-45mm all round and when when ever i go round a bend and put my foot down a bit i get a really loud knocking sound from the n/s/f i think its the lower arm ball joint but not quite sure.:confused: can anyone help me out.

Jack it up and wiggle the wheel, if you can see/feel it moving much take the wheel off and move the ball joints around untill you see/feel a lot of play in one.

But id check the CV joint too. Is the boot split?

Almost definately the outer CV IMO.

I agree with Lee.

When you take off or slow down in a straight line, do you hear a single knock? Or is the knocking a constant thing that happens in tandam with the speed? ie the knocking gets faster with increased speed?

no its only when i go round corners but ive just had it up in the air and its the lower arm ball joint thats f**ked. time to get a new one
