Hi my name is Chris and I have decided to sell my Vauxhall Nova hillclimbing project. I've owned this vehicle for about 5 years, and in that time it has only been on the road for a year before I decided to prepare it for hillclimbing, so it's been off the road and SORN'd for roughly 4 years now. I built the car with the intention of racing it but over the year I have lost interest, so after long thought I have decided to sell up. The shell is as follows;
-1.2 Nova Merit full shell (i.e. with bonnet, tailgate, doors) in royal blue (I'm not sure of the proper colour name), without sunroof
-Rear quarters have been repainted by Brewsters due to rolled arches, the rest of the car has factory paintwork
-Underside of car has been painted blue to match the bodywork and has been undersealed
-Stitched welded by Chris Ashley Motorsport to Group A specifications
-6 point bolt-in Safety Device roll cage
-Harry Hockley strengthening kit welded in
-1" tubing welded in for bucket seats to be fixed
-Astra internal gear linkage
-Solid front top mounts
-Gaz coilovers at the front, Gaz shocks and springs at the back (I have got the rear coilovers if preferred)
-Sparco aluminium front strut brace
-Powder coated Nova GTE anti-roll bars
-Astra GTE front brakes and callipers (I've replaced the old copper brake lines with new ones)
-Braided hose kit all round
-Original 1.2 fuel tank has been cleaned externally and repaint
-Nuts and bolts on the wheels have been replaced by studs and bolts
I've probably missed out some things but give me a call or an email if there are any queries. The price is £2000. I have put a huge amount of time and money into preparing this car, and it is in great condition.
