spiggot rings

Had my wheels balanced recently and the guy said that my wheels may get extra vibration because the spiggot rings were missing. These are the plastic rings that sit in the inner centre area and support the alloy on the hub. He said they werent essential but I might get vibration through the wheels.

Does anyone know ehere I can get a set of these things? I'm sure my wheels are MIMS (15") but the guy who balanced them wasnt convinced. Are there certain styles of ring for certain alloys?

yeah i think they are specific try phoning someone like south west tyres i think they are available off the shelf

Most big places like Demon Tweeks, and Power Zone (advert in cover of Revs) have them.

They do depend on the alloy wheels, though i can't say that i've noticed any difference between them yet.

Cost is only a quid or so.
