Can I rebore a x14xe to 1600 by fitting the x16xe crank, rods and pistons?
I don't want to go over 1600cc and as the 1600 is actually 1598cc I was wondering if I could start with the x14xe block to get a new 1598.
Has anyone done this? Cheers.:thumb:

are you mental? for the cost of doing all that you could easily get a complete x16xe

I already have a C16XE and X16XE but don't know what condition they are in. I also have a set of Cosworth pistons so would like to build a new bottom end so that I know it is going to last a while. ;)

I was hardly going to fit Ford pistons was I.
