I'm Gonna Start Altarin My 1.2 and I Have Some Things On My Mind, Such As:
What Size Speakers Are In The Dash?
I Want To Put 15" Alloys On It And Lower It By 60mm, What Size Tires Do I need To fit This Without Rubbin The Arches?

Anyone Help?

alright m8 - welcome to novaload

1 - speakers - I think are 5cm depends on what nova you have (mk1 or mk2) to say how easy they are to get out. To be honest, many peeps leave them in and get a decent set of 6x9's for the rear to fill the car with sound.

If you wanna get them out and yer cars mk2, get a new set and get somewhere like halforeds fo fit them for ya (its fiddley). You need to remove the side vents to get access, also remove the speaker grill and twist - you need the hands of a girl/small child - I got my 10 yr old neice to get mine out! lol!

2 - lowering - I've lowered my 1.2 mk2 on gmax 60mm springs and shocks (otherwise known as dampers) - give excellent look and feel - you may wish to get anti roll bars for the front and rear (about ?30 second hand) easy to fit. Fitting suspension is fairly easy depending on how stiff yer front nuts are on the strut tops.

3 - Alloys - Novas have an off set of et45-49. This is the clearence for under the arch and determines where the alloy sits in relation to the hub (or summut like that) - basically how far in/out it sits. for 15" alloys you'll need a tyre on 195/50/15 or 195/45/15 as a rule.

4 - arch modding - it depends on the car and the alloy/wheel you get. If your tyre has a curved tyre wall (cheap) then you will need tro remove more of the lip by rolling or grinding. If you grind remember to seal it fully afterwards (hammerite and bitumen paint). Put the wheel on 1st to assess how far it catches, then grind away.

Hope this helps

Hello.

the speakers in the Mk2 Nova are 10cm speakers. I bought some JBL speakers to replace the standard ones. The rears are easy to do, the front ones are a bit awkward, but you can do it yourself.

Welcome to Novaload.

A few points to note...
1. NEVER TRUST ANYONE WITH THEIR PIC ON THEIR AVATAR
2. As Above, Especially Micky - He is a bit wobbly in the head. :D
3. I am the only exception to the above rules.
4. Watch out for Tilly - She bites. :o

Enjoy!
