My nova is cosmos blue with a good 10% of it in grey primer. it also needs dents taking out of the pass rear qtr. I will also be fitting my FG bumper and tailgate which are white. Im not gonna bother getting it all resprayed profesionally but I want to alteast tidy it up. So the plan is to spray the bonnet and tailgate tidied and sprayed in a nice cheap white, then do some sort of change over using graphics where it changes from blue to white.

I photoshoped an basic idea and thought id throw it open to comments and suggestions.

That look quite good actually!!! Its abit grey, but for an idea its good.

Anyone remember the RS tigerstripes you used to get on FORDs?

Just reminded me when I saw the chequers.

Yeah the source picture was too dark to get a pure white, it was intended to be white not grey!

I dunno, makes it look like a Ford Colour scheme.

It has to stay with the white and blue theme does it?

well i dont want to respray the whole car, the idea is to keep the blue and then a cheap standard colour to cover the repaired arches and FG boot/bonnet (ie bulk buy spray cans of a non manufactuere colour or somthing i can get hold of easily). It could be another colour other than white, but would need to be somthing i can get transfers easily made up to be close(ish) to the matching paint.

Could you not get someone to plotter cut low tack shapes and use them as masking? Would save the hassle of colour matching 2 mediums.
