what is a good photoshop application to get hold of?

iam interested in playing around as these packages seem to be pretty powerful.

i use the now ancient paintshop pro 7, easy to download for free i would imagine as its old but works more than adequately.

Pah, I use PSP4 lol... its a shareware version, 30 day trial period. Its currently on day 950-odd of that trial. LOL

I also have PSP3 somewhere too!

i dont use paint, because i hate cleaning brushes

I know its on google, just wondering which one people had downloaded as there are a few. I was only going to use the free trials ones. see if i liked it then by the full version, i mean thats what they are there for.
