sure they will be.
Aye, saw these just after they were listed. Ill be doing a how to in a few weeks on moulding your own :thumb:
That sounds interesting, would the prices be comparable to finished panels or are we talking lightweight bits on the cheap? lol

How you mean? Ill be making 2 sets, one set for me, the other set out of carbon purley to sell on. May be making some Kevlar ones for myself at a later date though.
How much you reckon it would cost to make your own? Bonnets and boots be doable too?

So far it stands me at £52 for enough matirials to make 2 pairs of front wings in FG. Thats excluding the gel coat (about £14) as im yet to go out and get some.
Carbon fibre escalates the price massivly, Kevlar makes it go even higher as Kevlar is like £20 per sq/m or something silly i get it for.
As for bonnets and boots, erm, ill answer thats once ive made one lol after the wings ill be making a carbon dash carcass though :D

Have a look HERE (http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=2782&familyName=Carbon+Fiber+2x2+Twill+Weave) albeit from the US to get a basic jist of what material costs are involved ;)
Then add a lot of time and effort in preparing the mould as it needs to be absolutely PERFECT obviously. Theres a few half decent guides on the web I've seen on how to do it. Then you've got to lay and cure the actual panel preferably under vacuum (very general description!).
Be good to see a guide Mike.
See the wings have sold now, couldn't have hung around for long!
Aye, making the moulds is a time consuming task! The mould i made when i done my carbon steering shroud took funking hours to do!!
Ill let you know how i get on with the wings though chap, i shall be starting them in a few days.
