Hello to all, want to introduce myself, but without p155ing everyone off.

First of all, i live in Brittany, France.

And Secondly, this is my new aquisition, not bad for 150 Euros :D

Ebay item number: 260299427786 (Can't post link)

Needed the master cylinder sorting but its ready for it's Controle Technique (French MOT) tommorow morning.

But a friend had a 2 litre 8 valve ne astra in his front garden, and is now mine for an extra 100 Euros

Can anyone see the plan?? :D :D

WIth regards to thread "found a stash of tidy rust-free nova bodyshells"

Once the car is in a scrap yard here, they are "declared" as in UK. However they are as solid as they say!!!

Would also be able to help out if anybody wanted one, could even deliver :thumb:

LUKE

(this would have been alot easier if i could post links)

Thanks for the replies guys, would do a project thread for the astra, probs on mk3oc but progress is too slow, it'd just annoy people!!

but it's a 3dr astra merit shell extended gsi rear bumper vectra front arches on the back and really low skirts, all smoothed in, plan is to drop a caliba rear floor in, hole is part cut and floor is here, just need to get round to it. will be using all calibra / cav turbo running gear.

He's going to be minted if he charges the same as what I've seen them advertised for sale on here for.

How hard is it to convert a LHD shell to RHD, i.e. rotting UK car re-shelled with solid EU car?

burgo
29-10-08, 09:27 AM

Burgo:

Red interior is sweet, i have to admit. brown dash and carpets aswel. not sure if i should keep the interior and stay retro, or strip it with buckets and cage etc

The price of parts here can be rediculous. one scrapyard even charges half the price of the new part from the manufacturer!!!

Shaun:

:wall: There goes me knowing what i'm talking about LOL. If you want shaun we could always do a swap, or i could just keep dreaming.......

Lauren:

I would consider helping you with your lil more door, except

Mr Lauren
No Sister
No picture of Mum
And about 600 miles between us......

You dragged me down to this level. (only joking hun) :thumb: LOL

Mike:
