What is the difference between BHP and Torque? Which wouldbe the best revs to let the clutchout on a 0-60 run (assuming the tyres dont spin) My car has max BHP at 5600 and highest torque at 2200?

quite loosely:

torque provides accelleration providing there is enought power to make the car accellerate

so in theory if your power band was totally flat it would be best to pull off ar 2200rpm

in actual fact u should find that althought the torque peaks at 2200 it still stays quite high till much futher up the rev band, so if u find the point where the torque starts to drop off rapidly and hold the revs just below there u SHOULD get a better launch since ur gonna have near peak torque and a lot more power than at 2200rpm
