what gearboxs will fit a 2.0l 8vavle or redtop??

8v boxes as standard were F16.

The XEV' had F18 boxes AFAIK

Redtops had F20

LET's had F28

Think they will fit one another with the correct flywheels IIRC

But using a lesser spec gearbox with a higer rated engine could mean dead boxes sooner than later.

To fit an F10 or F13 you'll need to change the flywheel and clutch assembly, and open a can of worms debating whether or not you'll destroy said gearboxes with a big block lump.

LMFAO

I think what Stuart means is why are you going to all the effort of bodging on a lesser, weaker, gearbox to it?

RJ, i bet the answer will be "because I want to be different"...... hmmmm FAIL

Is "different" the new word for "unique"?

Put it this way, If it was that easy to mate the small block box to a big block, people wouldnt have spent the last 10+years bothering use a mount spacer, and 22spline shafts/CVs.
