Oil pressure light

When ever i go around a right hand corner my oil pressure light comes on, it is now coming on more and more frequently. There is plenty of oil and it happens even if you go around a corner out of gear, any suggestions? Cheers

mines started to do this - your oil pressure sensor is fcuked!

Depending on what engine you have will depend on how much it costs to fix - mines a 1.2 carb and apparantly I can get a replacement for less than ?10 (has 1 wire?). However Ive been informed that the bigger sensor (2 wires?) is for bigger engines and is more expensive

Prob cost ya ?20 to fit by a mechanic. Or you can do it yerself - although dont know how (nothing in Haynes about it) -

Anyone got any ideas?

the two wire ones are for the pressure level sensors, like in the SRs and GTEs that have the guages not just the warning light. i happen to have one of those spare and i was going to fit it soon anyway, thanks very much.
