Cheap for what they are i surpose.
I nearly just choked on my pizza then.....
Are they really worth that much to someone?

I think you would have to be a mug, nevermind deep pockets. I myself would not part with that sort of cash for those items. Granted they are "mint" but £250+ are they really worth that amount?!

crazy, just sold a new passenger door for £160 which I thought was about right. I still have a brand new pair sat in bubble wrap, nice investment
did new drivers doors come with all the external trim & a lock with the centre pushed in???? I think they were fitted to something, albeit briefly.......

Yeah i'd say they've been fitted
compared to getting a reskin done properly, i'd guess they are still too much money.....

Surely too much, i wouldn't pay that for them!
lol lol lol what a farce!
EDIT: Re-skin is much cheaper & easier!
i though £250 was the going rate for a bare door so built up ones id say thats about right
Are they really worth that much
brand new genuine doors yes. you try and find another pair
brand new genuine doors yes. you try and find another pair
brand new that have been sprayed & fitted & someone has put a lock middle in?????
theyve not been sprayed, thats the standard primer and i assume hes built them up with what he had lying around

Still, ridiculous price to be asking IMO.

So why did he build them up & put knackered locks on them??? everyone else paints a bare door first, then builds it up
well he did say he built them up to put on the car which he was then going to get sprayed. praps he was just thinking that was the easiest way to make sure the body shop built it up properly after its been sprayed. as for the locks praps there the only ones he has. better to have a knackered lock than no lock

No it's not.
When new from vauxhall they cost £250 each, and now vauxhall have none left, and Opel Classic's only have passanger door's left.
They are rare, and new, and if you wanted to build a car that will last then they are worth £250 all day long.

Someone who is restoring a car to a high standard, such as Dec and his sport for arguments sake, then yeah a fair price. But like i said IMO, it is a high price to pay for someone just tidying up/modding a Nova.

can't see to good as I'm on my phone here but they appear to be a bit less matt than mine! Strong money but worth it to someone with enough will to build a lasting nova.
Ps. I got my brand new doors and full rear quarters for less than he's asking for a door :)
as keith said , they were that price when availiable , i think that there worth it for the fact that there will be non left soon atall , and then the prices will be goin up

Id happily pay that if my car was needing them. If your going to do it, do it right.

id pay that too, you pay for what you get, you want a good job and good doors you pay the price
Even with new panels you take a chance, these could have spent their life in a damp garage or have been stored outside, exposed to the elements?
My mates paid silly money for new doors on his RS Turbo and the rusted through within 6 months (is a Ford mind!!) :-(
With Nova panels becoming more and more rare, and decent shells like hens teeth I can understand these prices. I can also understand why people have gone down the e-dipping route like Keith and Rich, if you want something to last extreme measures need to be taken...

Ah but were not all rich farmers like you Fred! lol I sold my last brand new pair for £300. Id say this guys prices are a little steep tbh when really they are not strictly brand new. Im sure the same will come up many times again but cheaper. :)

Where can you get door skins from? Anyone got any recently. Mine are in need of some love. Can you still get full ones or are they just window down?
