Handbrake styling

I want to sort out the handbrake's shite looks by fitting a new handle, gaitor and frame. Want to get a new gearknob gaitor too. Where can I get Nova fitting bits?

demon tweeks do a handbrake handle for around ?23.81 i think. The bag/gaitor thing can be a universal fit around ?30 i think. For mine i used a gear knob frame that cost me ?15 from Kroozin i think, but im not sure. It was designed for the vectra tho, mayb a cav. I forget.

The flying machine handbrake handle cost me ?10 and gear knob ?5 both in brushed ally and leather. The gaitor(leather) and surrounds(stainless steel) were free because I made them :D

I made the gear lever gaitor myself, i got a corsa gaiter, unstapled the plastic, pulled the cable tie on the top tight, and pushed the bottom of the gaiter into the centre console!

Seriously though Matt, your project sounds like it's gonna be great!

I've got loads of mad ideas in my head, but i don't think i'll bother going to the trouble (and expense - no garage!) of realising them. Not on the Nova anyway.

Matt and djp_y2k - looking forward to seeing your cars, both sound really promising, and mad, but still totally different.

There was a post on RB with some guy claiming to be building the maddest jap nova ever - had a look at it and it's wank. Yes, that's what i think. And, no, i'm not sorry for thinking it.

Cool Marty go for your ideas on your Nova, if it's a one off, then it's yours and no one can take that away. If you are the first it will always be yours. If you don't want to do your ideas PM me with them and I might use them on Project 2(reborn). Once project 1 and 3 are finished

Mine's going to be done pretty soon (stage 1 within a month hopefully), though it's all using off the shelf parts and stuff, but in a combination not done yet. Not one that i've seen anyway.

And even though it's not even finished yet, i already think that a certain bit is going to be wank. And that's the rear spoiler! It'll look like a shopping trolley. :lol:

What is wrong with 3 Projects?

Project 1 - The Flying Machine

Project 2 - Another Nova with scissor doors and some more mental ideas then the flying Machine :o :lol: (just at the Ideas stage until the flying machine is finished.

Project 3 - Race Kit Car, It's only come about because I was offer a Mark1 Escort with 47000 miles on the clock and still running for ?50.
