Anybody done anything to their doors to stop the rust kicking in? Just thinking of prepping mine to survive winter if it's wet seeing as they leak a bit around the window seals.

I was thinking clean it out and maybe run some seam sealer along the bottom? Or maybe waxoil the insides?

Any suggestions?

Waxoil cant hurt. I think anything to help prevent rust will help. Keeping the drain holes clear will help aswell.

Waxoyl the inside yeah. Most are already done though.

Dont block the drain holes obviously

It does look already waxoiled actually, but it's wearing through I think where it's been dripping water.

Waxoyl them up to the high heavens mate - Mine are going to be done

A mate's doors were done a few years ago and there still uber tidy :)

Ive waxoiled mine and im going to make another few drain holes. Plus one of my doors has had undersealer in the bottom after being sprayed fully.

take your doors off and put them in the shed for the winter. that'll stop em rotting

Make sure your door's are bone dry before putting waxoil on, as it actually is known to trap moisture thats under it and cause rust.

If you make sure the surface is clean and dry first they'll be fine.
