it was one of the old Mantas a 400 look a like. the head gasket went on it and the guy that was delivering it back to my dad crashed it

My Dad use to work for Vauxhall as a Sales manager when I was a kid and I remember he bringing home a MK1 Cavalier for the 1st time and he loved it. Very similar to the Manta, and was coloured in a bright orange with a tan suede. Think it was a 1.6GL but not sure mmm :)

Thats my dads mates old Chevette is still rallying. he also has a Road Chevette which is a HS and is silver which im going to get pictures of but he lives in Skye now. I think theres a few more ascona and manta pictures still to be found.

the blue rally on the left was last heard of in 2005. "my" Red SR was scrapped :(. Picture doesent show it well but its a 1.3sr C reg with a snow plough front :D it also had Racing suspension.
