right a mate of mine has a vectra the 2.2 v6? sri version he had a little crash and ****ed his engine he is just wondering what engines are a stright swop ? without any mods

2.2 v6??? it will be just a 2.2 the v6 came in 2.5 2.6 form in the earlier vectras pre major facelift.
i dont know much about the 2.2 tbh so i wouldnt like to say what other engine can be fitted in its place.

2.2 is a four pot matey the smallest V6 they did was the 2.5, the 2.2 has the inlet/exhuast reversed iirc so it should be fairly easy to spot:thumb:

If he's swapping his ****ed engine for one of the same format, ie same engine, it should be a straight swap.

The 2.2 was an Ecotec Vectrs SRi 150 engine, thats probably where you're getting confused.
