painting??

right i wana paint my block up, kind of colour coding the bay to an extent!
but i was wondering is there a specific / special type of paint i should be using, i kno heat ressistant and all that but any brand names would be helpful ! would be nice to see a few pictures aswell

i just hammerited the bay but ive heard you cant use it on the engine because it has a plasic coating or somthing and it will just melt.

Hammerite is fine and doesn't melt.

Does anybody have a barn or something where i can spray my van black with several spray cans of satin black?
Don't want you to spray it, just need somewhere to do it.
My van is currently 2 different shades of blue with a purple bumper and if i sprayed it in my street (in London) my neighbours would have a **** fit.
