engine swap help

hi guys, right i have a corsa 1.4 8v (c14se) coilpack engine and i wanna fit a e16se (dizzy) engine in it, how hard to wire in etc?

any ideas will help lol

Shouldnt be too much of a struggle. Probably get all the info you need from having a search about on here!

It should be quite straight forward as long as you've got all the loom/coil/ecu for the engine your putting in.

Have a search around for wiring diagrams, but theres probably only 6 or so wires you need to join

Are you sure its worth bothering?
Its like a 10bhp gain.

Plus when you declare the engine on the logbook(remember that bit ;) )
Your tax costs will suit up to £180 a year. Insurance will go up a fair bit too.

Tax should be the same shouldn't it? or is the e16se a touch over 1600cc?

Its 1598cc

Tax goes up anything over 1500cc iirc.

Its not like its a slight increase in cost either.

Just looked it up, it's 1549cc, I thought it was 1600 myself.
