hire a car trailer at £35 a day but you need the trailer thing on your licence to tow a trailer or use a tow dolly and the rear wheels stay on the road.
if its a bare/rolling shell you should be fine towing, think the law is u can tow upto either 500kg's or 750kg without having to do the extra towing licence **** lol. or if you got ur licence many years ago then u prob wont have to.
it changed on january 1st 1997! if youve done your test since then and not taken the B + E tests then your out of luck im afraid. towing dollys should only be used as a recovery means so if you towing basically a bare shell you'll get done as its clearly not recovery.
Push car onto road, sit in car, ring RAC lol

Thats not a stupid as it sounds, I done it with the AA on a stolen car, just had to meet the AA man at the car, ring them and say it's your car thats been stolen, when you get there it's been stripped

these are only legal moving recovery cars to a safer place,
car must be taxed, mot'd and insured ;)
actually it doesnt whilst it is being towed on a dolly as it is no longer classed as a car. however being as they are only allowed to be used for recovery the car should hav tax, mot and insurance as it would have been driven to be recovered
