Hello ive put a post up in the style part about this but i havent had much look so ive put a post on here. Basically i want my arches rolled before i take my car to get painted. I live on the Wirral thats near Chester just wanted to know if any one knows of any places near to me that can do it ive e-mailed

But these were no good wanted me to go to london to get it done :eek: so that went out the window lol

Surely this is a job your local bodyshop could do??!! Pop in and have a word with them?
i did do and he said that they dont do it

like the cdjs above in pick is that mixer djm600 ?
more than likely a pioneer djm600 if there cdj's lol.
alot of people use a broom handle with a couple different size wheels/tyres they can roll the lip up perfectly... gently rolling the car back and forth with the broom in between the arch and tyre...

i used to have the djm600 and technics 1210s mks gutted i sold em. its a pain in the ass this, if i can get some one to take me at the weekend ill go around some body shops

lol @ a bodyshop saying they dont do it? www.wide-wheels.co.uk (http://www.wide-wheels.co.uk) are in Huddersfield. Thats how far from you? Depends how desperate you are to get it done i guess?

Hammer and dolly, flatted them right up. seal them in.

So long as the original metal in the arch is metal & not rust, it is quite easy to do yourself, but all too often the paint work on the outside can flake, then you are risking water getting in & speeding up the rust.
Most sensible wheels with a 49mm offset don't need arch mods. What wheels have you got?

Only downside to that is your then left with a rough edge and if not treated will rust!
If you do it yourself, get a heat gun on the paintwork to try and minimise the cracking of the paint. Not too hot else it will blister!
