well for the past couple days when im idling in my car (traffic lights etc) my revs will go down to 800 then gradualy get lower and lower and end up cutting out unless i give it a rev

the engine is from an astra im sure its the c16sv its a 1.6 8v

this is the engine

Errr whats an "anti-stall valve"?

Is it the same a a buffle valve, or the discombobulator?

Or you could just not be a n00b and tell me, cos if others dont know or havent heard of one before then he might not have done either!

Any possible air/vacuum leaks on the inlet gaskets?

In many cases with old style carb engines, a desent time served mecahnic will hear the problem with the bonnet up & have it fixed in minutes.

Anti stall valve is in the flux capacitor maybe? :confused:
