do very similer work(360 operator) to your pics myself,sewer/drainage work,nice to be outdoors,as i used to weld(jig work) giant steel bobins,steel stansions for site work etc,so looks all so familiar.:)

Why did he use a mask to weld ?

NDT- Non destructive testing

Basically check quality of welding, castings and lots of other very random stuff using a variety of disciplines incl, radiography, ultrasonics, magnetic particle inspection and dye penetrant, also do visual inspection of welding.

stand againt landy's by the looks of it lol

Quite often entails standing round, sometimes for 15 seconds sometimes 15hrs just depends how thick the metal is and how strong the bomb is and also how fcuking idol im feeling.
