Nova headlights still in use

Sure the rear lights from Novas are in use in some silly little city car, but had this mentioned to me tonight, look like mk2 Nova headlights

Very similar but I doubt they're the same seeing as Daihatsu are owned by Toyota, GM's biggest rival iirc. I can't see them sharing each others parts bin lol The indicators look a bit different to me as well.

I was told by a friend who has repaired one in a bodyshop, bare in mind that they are made by Valeo not GM, looking on ebay at an actual light they look slightly differnt fixxings but the glass is identical

The lights will be valeo units, but I still think its unlikely they'd be allowed to sell them to Daihatsu, especially as indeed they are owned by Mr T.

The mk1 Aixam 500 things (made by reliant iirc) share the same nova rear lights whereas the newer ones are similarly shaped but are taller and narrower!
