Ok - lowered my car 60mm but the back looks far to high - what can i do to the standerd back bumper to make it lower? Add a splitter??

I'm putting a saxo style rear diffuser on mine when I can afford it.

Novaaj, how long have you had the lowering kit on? the rear takes longer to drop because there isnt as much weight in it! place a couple of patio slabs in it for a week or so, and it should drop nicely!
But otherwise a splitter will help to lower the looks of the car!

my rear bumper is totally smoothed and it seems to make an illusion that its lower.... i can't have a splitter due to my centre exit twin 4" exhaust coz then it'd be too low for the speedie bumpies..... (fckin council)

neway try a seat ibiza splitter or laguna splitter..... only thing i don't like is when the bumpers clash coz seat one is fairly smoother and standard bumper is edgy

Theres a clearer pic in the trax 2002 section - here

this one lets you see it tacked in place before respray - looks high cos car was stripped right out so suspension was way up.

Had to cut and shut it by about 3" (mk1's bumpers wider)

Is it just my eyes, or is my mk1 bumper that low already? because i cut into my bumper, to go round my exhaust :?

yeah the mk1 bumper is lower with a cutout the mk2 stops just above the exhaust, you can see on ades picture where the mk2 comes down to and then where the mk1 comes down to as the GTE flick doesnt add any actual depth to the mk1 bumper
