Compatibility isses with 1.4 dissy in 1.2?

Got 1.2 carb, but want to change cam and carrier to SRi 1.4. Due to one being Injection and one being carb, would I have any issues as to changing to am SRi distributor?

An SRi use's a dizpack (no rotor arm) so yes youve got issues straight away. Changing a carb'd distritubor engine to a dizpack.

And on another note, what exactly are you trying/hoping to achieve by changing the cam?

More lift, might just try get hold of 1.3 cam which will swap straight over.

My SRi had a dizzy. Some of the later ones were dizzyless IIRC.

Well to be honest, the dizzy on mine is on it's way out, so if there's any way I can kill two birds with one stone then it would be a great idea.

Just want to know what people think.

i have a 1.3 bottom end sat in a mates garage
i ve used the head but the rest is still there - the cam
could you use a 1.3 dizzy
