coilover problems

Hey guys im having some problems with my coilovers

I have fitted the rear ones no problem
but the front ones are fitted ok but they seem to catch on the inside of the wheel.
Every time i think ive got it clear as soon as i lower it back down the spring or adjuster rubs the wheel.
Has anyone else had this problem?
and how do you think i could overcome the problem?

Remove the helper spring if one is fitted

Fit shorter springs

Wind the height adjuster up

Fit spacers

are they spax rsx by any chance?

Just chuck on a 2mm spacer.

Hey guys thanks for the help
They are cheap TA Technix ones, just needed some to get it through MOT really.
But i will try taking out the helper spring 1st.
Hopefully that will sort me out,
