dodgy character lol bring it on
Ok, we got the pictures uploaded there, so I'm posting them up for Ross!
Here's a few pics to show what his Nova looked like when he first bought it, a 1.2 Carb Merit:

He then began to strip the car down, purchased/fitted a front upper light panel as the old one had seen better days, and cut out any rot and welded in new metal in place. (I was the rust finder, big screwdriver ;) ). Both sills and the bottoms of the front splash guards were welded.
Couple of strip-down pics:

Ross is a lazy shoyte, so we have limited pics, but he then got the engine bay and boot areas stripped and painted. These pics show the engine bay painted, also with a new donkey:

Thats as far as we have got, the engine is wired and running using an SPi tank with MPi pump. Its quite a sharp little thing, driving with no windscreen isn't good at 70 mph though!lol On a private road.
I will try to take some more pictures soon with a digital camera and stick them up!
Comments welcome!

so once i had the car built i got the lend of a friends cesaros to get the nova through her mot, and it passed:), but on the way home from the mot centre it all went down hill, she started spluttering and had no power. so new injectors, brain and fuel pump sorted that out.

future plans; lowered 40mm, gsi spoiler (in primer i just need to get time to spray it), sr/sri door bottom vinal and door/pillar vinal. i dunno if gsi skirts would go with the door vinal? and prob put a splitter on the bumper. yea the car is local from my area and first purchased in the local vauxhall dealership, the car has even got the original dealership mud flapslol

you'd never see 40 mm on a nova.
go 60mm with some monroe gas shocks ;)
