View Full Version : C16SE engine loom & ECU
Can possibly get you one from my local scrappy if you want?
If your swapping the management on your 1600 8v, remember stuff like the crank sensor etc, which your engine wont have.
:)
If you can matey please, loom & ECU, crank sensor and diz pack please. And any other sh1t that the C16 runs that my E16 management dont.
You will need a lot of other shizzle too.
The inlet and throttle body are different.
And your oil pump may not have the thread to hold the crank sensor bracket.
Need c16 bottom pully too for the crank sensor teeth.

The bracket bolts into a thread in the oil pump, which a early 1600 probably wont have? Unless its had a pump change, and a newer style pump fitted
it does bolt on as ive done it. i wouldnt say it did otherwise

where are you m8
i have
c14se engine loom, crank sensor, coil packs and bracket to fit to the cam carrier the cam its self (as far as i know the c14se cam is the same as the 1.6 you will need to check) and the coilpack ECU
i dont have the crank sensor bracket, but i got one from my local scappy and he did'nt even want any cash for it said it was just scap! how cool is that? BTW the bracket from a nova, astra and the early corsa sould fit ok
steve

Isnt the loom integrated into the car loom on Novas?
If you het the engines from a Corsa/Astra the loom is seperate.

yes it was on mine, but the complete loom i had was for the dizzy set-up thats why i have the bits surplus. the bits i have are from an astra c1.4se i would guess if you know about wiring it would be fairly easy to adapt.
