Which part of the bonnet catch? Spring, little flippy bonnet latch thing or the thing that goes under the dash?

the flip part that you release to open the bonnet from the outside, needs to be complete with the split pin part that holds it on to the bonnet and have the spring bit that goes around the latch and sits in the bonnet

Lever that connects to bonnet via split pin - check.
Split pin - check
Circle bonnet spring that bolts into bonnet shell - check.
