Right, I snapped the handbrake cable on my nova 2weeks ago and have been struggling to get the parts.

Everytime i order the longer section it doesn't include the adjuster... Is this normal?

I was going to replace the whole lot as I always struggle to replace the cable as the adjuster seizes.

i brought a handbrake cable for a tenner, it was the full cable from handbrake to wheels. came with the adjustor and all. try somewhere else if they just keep giving you the longer section without adjustor. try a main vauxhall dealers that where i got mine from.

The adjuster....? The metal cage thing that the 2nd cable anchors from?

Nah I've never seen them come with that. I took my pic from newer, clean looking ones from Corsas in a scrapyard.

Can't recall ever buying one that came with the adjuster tube, I thought you had to get that bit seperate from a dealer's? I've only ever had to give them a quick wire-wheel clean-up to get them useable again.
