"To abstain from or act together in abstaining from using, buying, or dealing with as an expression of protest or disfavo"

LMFAO.. Epic fail lol
its all cunning marketing... people will hate the name, and not go (despite not going there much in the first place), then they will name it all back to pizza hut and the very people that hated the name change but didnt frequent the restaurant will go there in droves to see if its like it used to be....:wall:
I thought that was what was going to happen when they renamed Marathon bars.
Theyre still Snickers though and everyone hated that name change as well lol
Any publicity is good publicity :p
And this thread is making me hungry. I like Pizza Hut, but dominos deliver and I am Captain Fatlazybarstwárd.
Oh, and dominos garlic and herb dip (or whatever it is) is the tastiest thing on the planet.
[edit] Just had a look on roflolmaowtfbbqbullcrapipedia and it seems the Pasta Hut thing was an American april 1st jape to advertise their new range of pasta menu items; in the UK they've instigated it to make them appear a little more upper class (lol) but its only supposed to be a temporary name change on 30 of its eateries.
They're only changing it at like 15 restaurants around London anyway...

Lets employ the same evil marketing idea and change this site to PSG - Performance Saxo Group. Once a load of excited Saxo owners have paid for membership then change it back to PNG, mwa ha ha
Pfft, PSG is Performance Saloon Group! How dare thee tarnish our fine name with the likes of french tat!
I was reading a saxo forum for entertainment the other night, it's brilliant, the performance and tuning threads were:
"how do i fit nitrous?"
"just fitted a new exhaust and it's not loud enough"
"will this bolt on turbo kit for £500 work?"
"which exhaust is loudest"
"will this electric supercharger work, because it's not on ebay and costs £300?"
"fitting a new exhaust didn't make my car louder, do i need a manifold?"
"which is the best exhaust" (by which, he meant loudest)
I nearly signed uup to reply to the guy that said "So we're all chavs because we ride around in citroen saxos with <insert chavvy make of exhaust i forget>?" lol
