I guess Hendrix means from which car

I think mine came from an Astra and its not a good fit tbh... I believe you want the cavalier one.

Ive never had a problem with any xe one, they all have the same ends on them only difference is some will be different lengths. Which isnt a problem TBH.

Yup, mine was the wrong length so we had to bodge it to fit. Unsurprisingly lol

The wrong length in what respect? The cable has less distance to go on a nova than an astra or calibra.

Cheers for the replies guys, I'll plunder one off the missus calibra xe lol

The end of the cable stuck out from the sleeve too far, so when you pushed the accelerator halfway down all it did was take up the slack in the cable. We bodged it by lengthening the sleeve with some spare hose... I'll take a pic when I get home to show.

I found the Calibra/Cavalier one too long in the Nova. Had to use a jubilee clip on the sleeve to allow me to get full throttle otherwise the cable was too slack.

Astra GTE one works perfect though.

Sounds like the same problem as RJ had.

My throttle cable has been chewed by an uncovered belt so this is all usefull
