wheel nuts

would standard wheel nuts be ok with cav alloys ? my dad said something about them not being ok due to them being tapered and i need sleeve ones or something :confused:

Cant see why it would be an issue TBH. Ive got Astra GTE alloys on my Nova using Nova bolts...

yeah they will be ok, as long as they are long enough for the extra thickness of the alloy so u still have enough thread into the drum/hub

Its the reason that some cars have different wheel nuts for the steel wheels and alloys, non taperd for the steel wheels but standard nova wheel bolts are fine.

Na, they work. All Vauxhall wheels fit alright with std Bolts. I know what you mean though, Honda Nuts dont fit from Alloys to steels.
