Right guys i know that square number plates are allowed front and rear as long as they have standard lettering!!
Does that mean i cant have pressed number plates?

You could get a bike place to make up square plates, if you liked. You want a square for the rear aswell??

Square pressed... hmm, you'll be hard pressed (:roll: :D ) to find those! Like i said a bike shop could probably make you some normal square ones, but on the back it will look silly IMO.

Shouldnt do i have a smooth boot so it will be going on the bumper in the bottom left hand corner

you wont find any square pressed as i said before its a jap and euro you will have to get them custom

you can get legal pressed plates as long as they are english lettering and maybe a bsau marking

Have a look on there for pressed plates. AFAIK they are legal type plates. Not sure on the D though. They wont be square from there though.

Hmm, I've often wondered this. As you're misrepresenting the country of origin of the car, but as far as I know there's no laws against that... is there?
To have a legal numberplate it has to be the correct font though, imagine the legal minefield if you can say this is a correct font in uzbekistan as they don't specify a font etc. lol
But cars not from there so its illegal. Pretty much anything other than standard plates are illegal. People will say they've had no trouble with theres but it doesnt matter when you're the one who gets pulled over and fined.
Its just a risk you take

Thats all i was after mate i wanted to know so then if the police pulled me i could argue my case!!!
