oooh look at that gourgeous interior lmao!!!
so thats how its standing at the moment, the shell is preety solid underneath, so my main cause for concerns at the moment is the rear arch's (repair panels on their way) also i need to source a new n/s/f door (so if you know anyone with one, gimme a shout).
the car is going to be used as a weekend car but will also be doing some outings to a few trackdays when finished (but it will not be track slagged up lol)
so ill keep this updated as and when the work gets done,
a rough sneak peek at stage 1 (ignore the tints, got giddy on ps lol );

engine; im in the middle of looking for a c16se, then when iv got this then i can start upping the spec on it before it gets dropped in this will involve full service all new belts and gaskets, lightened flywheel, T40's, cam, some headwork, 4 branch manifold.
gearbox; not quite sure, thinking f13cr (would this work well with the engine???)
and interior, just freshened up really, black carpet, buckets up front and im gonna make some door cards
all will be taking shape over the next few months :cool:

small update, have got rid of the rear wiper and motor, got my carbon look tailgate cover on (not the best but for a tenner its not bad and looks miles better than the standard one imo)
steering wheel has been changed for an astra gte 16v one, much better design than the bus one that was on lol, had a ball ache getting the old one off, but got there after 30mins of fighting with it lol
and front seats have come out so i can get the subframes off and mate them up to my sparco buckets (bought from chappers off here :thumb: ) need a bit of a clean but for £45 im very happy with them, and i no they'll serv there purpose of keeping me in round the corners :)
* pics of all of this on there way :D
nice one nath , glad to see you have a nova again lol

i know i'd been out of the game too long, and rather than sell the bits id gathered thought it'd be easier banging them on a nova lol
forgot how easy these cars are to work on,
also got a 1.6 16v mk4 astra as a runaround now (£700 konig front seats in it FTW!! lol) got a reiger bumper and a few little trick bits lol
lol have to nip down sometime , let us have a look

had a bit of time for the nova lately so ill do a mini update of whats been done;
first off, when i bought the nova it had a set of locking wheel nuts on (but with no key bolt) :wall: so had to sort them out before the coilovers could go on, big hammer and fooked socket later and there all off now :d .
so cracked on with getting the coilovers on and trial fit of the momo arrows.
before thecoilovers settled;

all settled, thats better :cool:
