phat 0-60 time!!!!!

duno if anyones has bought this months redline but theres a white shite lookin corsa in there with a 0-60 time of 4.5 secs or suthin near that!! on a throttle bodied 20litre 16valve, anyone know wot has bin done to the 20litre to get that andf were he got it done, and wot BHP etc?? ....

yea no doubt ians is fast, but not that fast! annoyingly though it just said in the engine mods section that it was on throttle bodies and 'race tuned'......... no real description :(

Hmmm i think this is actually true, the guy came on here saying he had the fastest corsa/nova to 60 but people were saying that the Velos Nova does it in less than 4.5s.

Lucky b bought the corsa already built, it is 250bhp, plate diff, cut slicks, he wont disclose the spec of the engine.

next year i wont be far off that time, watch this space....

with the right tuning and money you can get a reliable 400Bhp from a 2l 16V (coscast head). but i would assume the right money being ?????????????????????? lol

anyone seen the latest total vaux magazine? the fastest accelerating car apparently is is citreon zxara rallycross jobbie. races in the class where there is no limit on engine. 0 - 60 in 2.7!!!!!!!!!!!!! no audi quattro could better that surely??!! be a beast to watch tho! anyone seen the repsol cossie go for it at santa pod? even that is amazing and thats slow in comparison!

Sorry to get my flat cap on, but 0-60 is a meaningless figure. you spend a few seconds getting fron 0-60, and the rest of the trip doing a bit more than that.

By the way, in CCC some fat bloke with lots of money built a se7en kit car with 2 bike engines & 4WD that did 0-60 in about 2.8 seconds with an mot & tax.

rules were made to be broken! 2.8seconds for the rally car from citron? wen the audi has put down 2.4 means the audi is fastest so there fore it could beat it!
