We were at a loose end yesterday, and so after fitting some new wheels, we went for a blast with my Canon 350D camera.

Hes not had it long so is still removing / changing a few things.

The car is a Jap Import VTI Civic EG (1.5 Vtec with LSD gearbox)
Coilovers (ebay jobbies)
Some **** exhaust thats due to be changed
VTi front lip and unknown rear lip
Rear tints
6 Spoke 15's with 195/50/R15 Toyo Proxes R
Bucket seats
Pipercross filter

Hes currently building a ~240bhp B20'd EG Civic with a spec list longer than most Premier League footballers driveways, so this is his runabout untill thats back out :D

I do quite like them, well done ones that is, not your usual chavved up one with chrome rims and a 6" backbox.

What power do these make std?

Im still getting to grips with it but im pleases nonetheless.

The UK VTI's / Import SIR II's (with a B16A2 engine) make ~160bhp

This car is a 1.5 Vtec (D15something engine) which is ~120-130ish IIRC.

Not quick but does ok for a runabout!

The D series engines are very loud with a larger bore exhaust on (which this car in question does:wtf:) - Soon to be changed.

The B series are quite possible one of the best sounding engines when a filter and exhaust are added.

lol all the civics round here sound like mopeds. Get a decent engine in there and a turbo and they can make serious weapons.

Is it a d15z6? That's what I've got in my ek, really reliable engine and 40+ mpg!
Love the eg.. Really nice example!

SiR import egs are 1600 b16 engines with dohc. I don't know much about the import vti eg but if it's d15 then it'll have 1500 sohc... If that makes sense?

My mates was a uk model VTi 1600 dohc. His misses had a CRX del sol, that was the SiR model, very rapid for a 1600!

I do like the civics, in fact most sporty hondas look good, its just a shame most of them are FWD, I couldn't have a jap wagon that wasnt RWD (or paybe 4WD).
