Had to sell my nova today to fund the purchase of a very sentimental car. The nova went to a good home and am sure it will be looked after;)
The car I have bought is a 1988 escort rs turbo that belonged to my best mate who died a few years ago. Hope you like it. I will, when funds and space permit, own another nova:thumb:

It's only done 19 miles in 6 years, and 10 of them were bringing it to my house:eek:

Before it went in the garage it had been resprayed in origional ford rosso red. Engine had just been built and new turbo fitted, whole new braking system and a load of other bits.

i hate them, but as there is more to it than it just been a escort you get my vote lol, but ya that really does look one clean rs :thumb:

Before it went in the garage it had new doors, new wings, new bonnet, new cills, new tailgate, and a full respray, new petrol tank, and a fully rebuilt engine that should be around 220 bhp. Its always been covered up and the garage is extreemly dry!, it's never turned a wheel in years either!:thumb:
Just a shame he never got to enjoy it:(

If my Nova had to be sold or I wanted rid of it for something it would be the S1 Escort RS Turbo :)

Good choice mate, you'll need to let me know if you miss the Nova once driving this! lol

I never liked RS turbos in the 1st place! I only bought it as it holds a lot of memorys for me.
The smile you get when you smoke BMWs and Audis in a "standard" 1.4 nova will be sadly missedlol

The lad I sold it to got a good deal, only because I needed the money and space to buy the turbo. I sold it cheap as I got the RS for peanuts.

me mum had an RS turbo - said it was the best car she ever had.

It's odd but whenever I think of RS turbo's or Escorts in general I get the taste of Sausage and chips covered in vinegar in the back of my mouth!

I cant recall having a sausage supper in an Escort either...
