seeing as them ceramic ones are ****e i built this :)
using the holder (cut down) from a mk1, orginal matrix, and the orginal fan
photos say 1000 words so here you go
it will demist the car within 3-4mins remove frost/ice with in 10mins
ill be making some ducking to aim it to the front screen

quite a cool idea there m8, makes more sense to blow from underneath as heat rises - makes the most of it. with ducting i bet that'l be dead good.
how louds the motor on the inside of the car.

real men take the heaters out completely drive with their windows in the middle of winter because the windows steam up othewise.

Not a bad plan. I can't understand thse track cars that ditch the heaters to save a few kilo's (for speed) then drive at 1/2 pace on a dull/cold day because they havent got enough hands to wind the windows down, wipe the screen, change gear & steer.
Heaters are for winners!

Is there an external air source? if not you will find the condenstation will just recirculate.

with both front windows cracked a tad, it'd be fine i woulda thought
