Cooling system problem

Ok then, i'm not that technically minded when it comes to nova engines but are you?? Here we go...

I seem to be constantly topping up the cooling system on my 1.2 merit....I fill it up to the Kalt mark....and within a week sometimes sooner....it's emptied completely! any ideas...someone where i work said they had the same problem and that the fluid was building up in the dash somewhere...or was he just talking rubbish?

I cant see any leaks...any ideas anyone...cheers for your help!

It might be in the dash, or more precisly in your carpet.... :( If your heater matrix is leaking. Other than that go round all you hose clamps and tighten them, it might be leaking under presure as you drive. This could also be true of the radiator... It's the wrong time of year to consider evaporation but it's going somewhere... What does your filler cap look like if you take it off? does it have any creamy gunk on it? this would be emulsified oil caused by water getting in there... not good, head gasket!
