Thats a very nice collection you have there Mike. A freind has got the title winning bike from each major championship (BSB, WSB, MotoGP) since 2003 when his son was born. The mini champs like you have. They are not cheap, IIRC around £40 each. Good collection though.

I have a number of car models, still in a box in my mums loft. Bought my own place last year, still havent bought a display cabinet, lol

I'm into model kits, preferable metal ones.

I have a (plastic) 1:24 scale road ST205 and 1:43 (metal) rally ST205 on my desk at work. Also a 1:18 metal '69 Dodge Charger Daytona, '71 Challenger 440 R/T, and '68 Mustang GT at home, along with a 1:24 WRC Impreza and Evo (which needs finishing). Also a 1:10 Mosquito, 1:24 F/A18 Hornet, 1:10 Spitfire, and 1:10 Skyraider

Oh, and all the original Lego ships: 6286 Skulls Eye Schooner, 6285 Black Seas Barracuda, 6268 Renegade Runner, 6271 Imperial Flagship, 6274 Caribbean Clipper... all 100% and with boxes :D

I used to have a wad of these and loved making the kits when I was younger but the missus "disposed" of most of them when we bought our house...they seemed to go missing when everything was packed up.

GRRR.

Still have a few 1:24 models (die cast) kicking about - looking for a decent RC base to build a nova on though at the mo...

If thats the original test car, complete and with box, it could be worth a fair penny.

How much? I have one! Still with box although its been built, still got the perforated packets the bits came in. Also got the Yellow pneumatic JCB, Fork Lift truck, and I think I have a wagon with a crane on the back? Or was that what the car made into aswell? Jcb also did a shuttle if i'm not mistaken?

I have the test car & the JCB aswell! The car is complete and I most probably have the box. The JCB was complete apart from one of the pneumatic pistons has broke, not sure if I have the box as both models are in the loft at me parents.

Did get this from the parents a few months ago...

Its mint in its box, was going to Ebay it but couldnt part with it.

Also got inferno(Fire engine) and Jazz(Porsche 911) but they aren't boxed.

Prob got loads more stuff up in the parents loft, one thing I regret selling is my Tamiya Michelin Pilot Cosworth will all the Hop-Up options.:(

8865, the red one from 1988? Hmm, just looked on Bricklink and not as much as I thought it would be worth. The black one, 8880 from 1994 appears to be worth a lot more though.

I cba to dust stuff lol

I have a big 3 litre bottle of smirnoff 21 (40%, not the 37.5 of the UK stuff) under my desk, which is nearly empty... its so big it comes with its own pump lol

Looks like a BDA lump in that Escort? Cossies are turbo'd!

Good looking models though. What scale are they?

LEWI007
11-10-08, 09:08 PM
thanks theyre 1/24

the lump is where i had it almost finished on my computer desk then i got a new monitor and it fell ontop of the car crushing those bits of the roof so i spent a while gluing it back in place then painted the car red

its not really a lump its just a smooth part where the glue went in, not to the best of my ability either its just one im working on ill take a pic of my other
