i have a c20seh in my nova and my gear lingage keeps pooping off i have tryed zip ties ect 2 hold it up its the big ball joint i really need some advise on what i need 2 do is it a common fault please help cheers :)

I had that on my nova sr, it had 150k on it though so not surprised, lol just get a decent one from a scrappy if you cant get them new. Vauxhall quoted me a stupid price for a new one.

my bro works at vaux and they cant get 1 dont see many seh at scrappys these days

Surely you could use any cavalier 1.8/2.0 linkage? Then again, I would have thought most of the big blocks linkages would be the same.

Don't you use the Nova linkage? Mine does I'm sure.

Or am I thinking of the wrong bit of the linkage?

I think he means the bit on the end of the gear selector rod, the main ball joint. Not sure whether its a nova or cav part but either should be easy enough to get from the scrappys.

Maybe just take the linkage with you and match it up?
