View Full Version : carpet
is there a standard black carpet for the nova?
no, early novas have brown or if you dont fancy getting a custom one made up you could try either dyeing it or spraying it pikey style.

I also sprayed my parcel shelf black, came out well :)
My first Mk1 saloon had a very very dark grey carpet. I did think it was black to begin with.

I would use Pactra RC paints that are designed to etch into plastics. The carpet is a nylon moulding so it should 'take' really well.
Looked good Simps, though I'd have sprayed the seat mounts in the floor too for a pukka job.

True, but the plastic covers went back on top so are black anyway.
