No i'm not looking for silly money; it will need additional machining before building it up for starters. I'm just looking for a fair price for something quite desirable…

Would be nice to see it not end up on some 2 ton turbo cav too

think there is moe to it than just swapping bottom ends etc, puley arangememnt might be wrong.

If the machining didn't need doing it is exactly the same as an XE block in terms of "just swapping"

Does it not need a dry sump?

Not so far as I'm aware ~ The oil pump bolts onto the side of the block and then pickup pipe runs off the bottom of that correct..?

Hmmm eBay just canceled the auction without even asking me to amend a revision I made on it for the sake of others here. It's now a breach of policy to state you may cancel the auction at anytime due to advertised elsewhere.

Thanks for putting up the fees and bringing down the rights.

The auction might have to run the distance now…

I had this problem with ebay, ****ers!

If you do get a dececnt offer you can still end the ebay. You just tick a box saying item no longer available.

Nice block BTW. Did QED and Millington not develop an alloy block too? Have you a rough idea what you want for it? PM me if you have.

Yes, QED also do an alloy block;

http://www.qednet.demon.co.uk/xe/alloy.htm

To the best of my knowledge, Roy Millington has only ever cast Ford blocks in alloy (e.g the BDA, Cosworth YB type)

EBay Link removed.

And aye, they dont let you say "can cancel" etc etc anymore, as its against ebays rules.
But some do still run through without getting cancelled.

£2300 plus vat for the QED one, not too bad really!

No facility for any form of crank case oil breather?

On the front of the block near where an o.e block has it's breather, there's a protrusion that's perfect for tapping as a breather if needs be.

List a price up, not an ebay link.....
