MOT on new cars.

Right, i was just wondering, a friend of mine has a 07 reg corsa D, would i be right in thinking that they dont need an MOT for 3 years to the date they were new? or am i just talking out of my a$$ like usual?

Unless its already had an MOT in that case it needs one every twelve months!
